Garment Care

If looked after correctly your garments should last you a life time. The combination of hemp and silk makes for a fabric that is natural and breathable. The heat will not be trapped in like when wearing polyester. Hemp is antibacterial and doesn't retain smell which makes it easy to care for. It is hypoallergenic and shouldn't irritate sensitive skin.

Please follow washing instructions carefully, located on the tag inside your garment. If you garment is not visibly stained, hang to air out, out of direct sunlight. If your garment is marked, spot clean by wetting marked area with cold water and dabbing eco friendly washing detergent or stain remover on the affected area. Rinse throughly with cold water and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight.

Alternatively follow the instructions on the tag.

When hand-washing your garment, gently rub your garment in cold water with a small amount of detergent. Rinse thoroughly in cold water and let the garment drip dry out of direct sunlight. Avoid wringing or twisting the garment.

All garments are okay to iron on reverse with low to medium heat.

La Jolla Top: Due to the nature of this pleated fabric when washed your garment may look out of shape. Iron your top with medium heat (silk setting) to restore its true form.
